Dr. Jean-Marc Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Health & Wellness from Canisius University, a Master of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo, and a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from LECOM. Scoring in the 99th percentile on COMLEX, he brings exceptional mastery of medical knowledge and a proven record of helping students excel on high-stakes exams.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Lucas served as a professor at his alma mater, leading problem-based learning cohorts, mentoring students in history-taking, physical examination, and osteopathic manipulation, and refining an interactive, Socratic, case-based teaching style that makes complex topics clear and memorable.

Offered a position in orthopedic surgery residency, he instead chose to devote himself fully to medical education. Drawing on the thousands of hours he spent teaching and tutoring, Dr. Lucas founded (Pre)Meducated, a physician-led board preparation company that has helped hundreds of students pass COMLEX and USMLE, graduate on time, and launch their careers.

In keeping with the holistic principles of osteopathic medicine, he built (Pre)Meducated to focus not only on academic mastery but also on student well-being and burnout prevention, ensuring his students are equipped to thrive both on exam day and throughout their medical careers.
