Level 3 is about clinical decision-making and managing patients as a physician about to practice on their own, so we match you with doctors who make these calls in real life.

Can I really be tutored during intern year?

Yes, that's exactly who this is built for. We schedule your sessions and daily work around call, clinic, and the hours you actually have. When your rotation block changes, the plan moves with it. The whole point is a plan that survives contact with residency.

When should I take Level 3?

The NBOME recommends taking it after at least six months in residency, though it isn't strictly required. On the call we'll look at your schedule and help you pick a date that gives you enough runway without dragging it out.

What does an actual session look like?

You and your physician tutor work through real questions together, focused on how you got to an answer, not just what it was. You don't have to take our word for it. Watch a real session:

How is this different from the big group courses?

The big names are MD-built, group-only, and lock you into rigid hour quotas that ignore your call schedule. We're DO-led and COMLEX-first, you work directly with practicing physicians, and your plan is made for your residency. About 28% of our repeat students came only after a competitor's program didn't work.

What if you don't pass?

Silver and Gold come with a Pass Guarantee. If you don't pass and still have an attempt left, we keep working with you at no cost: 10 more hours on Silver, 20 on Gold. Out of attempts, we refund 50%. We confirm whether you qualify on the call, so there are no surprises. A guarantee that costs the company nothing isn't really a guarantee.

Can I be tutored for Level 3 during intern year?

How much time does Level 3 prep take during residency?

Less than med-school board prep, and we plan it around your hours rather than a fixed daily quota. On the call we'll look at your schedule and your starting point and give you a realistic weekly load you can actually sustain on service.

When can I take COMLEX Level 3?

You take it during residency. The NBOME recommends sitting it after at least six months of training, though that's a recommendation rather than a hard rule. We'll help you choose a date on the call.

What is on COMLEX Level 3?

It's the final exam in the COMLEX sequence, focused on clinical decision-making and patient management for a physician beginning unsupervised practice. It's a two-day, computer-based exam, and part of the second day is built from Clinical Decision-Making (CDM) cases.

Can my unused hours from an earlier level carry over to Level 3?

Yes. Hours can carry forward to your next exam, so anything you didn't use before Level 2 can come with you.
